Director of Theatre & Technical Production

Jillianne Tamillo is a theatre educator and teaching artist based in North Florida. She has served as the Director of the St. John’s County Center for the Arts (SJCCA) since 2024 and began her teaching career at St. Augustine High School in 2021 as the Theatre and Technical Production Instructor. Jillianne’s passion for theatre began in childhood through summer camps and community theatre, inspiring her lifelong commitment to the performing arts. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Theatre and Education from Flagler College and was excited to return to the stage in a new role as an educator, mentoring the next generation of artists.

Since joining SJCCA, Jillianne has directed more than 15 productions and is continually inspired by her students’ dedication, creativity, and pursuit of excellence. In addition to her work in the classroom, she is an active volunteer with community theatres throughout North Florida, contributing as a director, choreographer, performer, and teaching artist.

Recent credits include Every Brilliant Thing (Narrator), Dear Evan Hansen (Director, Players by the Sea), The Revolutionists (Director, Players by the Sea), World Builders (Director, SJCCA), and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Director, SJCCA).
